I think you will either love them or hate them. When the P238 was introduced it had the same magazine follower design as the Mustang, and it was disastrous. Due to issues, Sig has changed the magazine follower design 3 times, and finally has it right by most accounts. But as I said, they are either going to work fine for you, or they will frustrate you. Personally, I would not use a Mustang mag in a P238 carry gun, but that's just MHO. I hope you have success.
Yeah I've heard that but I just couldn't justify $46 dollars a mag unless it came engraved with my name on it or maybe even plated in silver. The markup is amazing on the 238 magazines. I don't plan to carry a Colt magazine in my gun as I am very content with the factory Sig mag and I like the finger extension. I just don't like having to reload every 7 shots while at the range so I thought I'd throw some cash down on the Colt magazines, 2 for the price of one, and see how it goes. If they perform well enough at the range then I'll think about adding them to my belt as backups if need be but until then I'm more than comfortable with 7 rounds of Hornady Custom ammo.
The Colt magazines are made by Metalform and they had the best reviews so I'll give a report once I try them out.

I wish that were the case but the ones that I just received are 6 rounders only and are without the finger extension which is exactly what I ordered. There are enough ammo level slots cut into the mag for seven rounds but I assume they use the same forms for the extended mag version.

I've had the mags for a little bit now and I figured it was time to give my thoughts on them.
For the money you can't go wrong. They fit in the gun and function well enough for me to keep them loaded as backups and with a little bit of modification I can probably get them running as smooth as the standard magazine. The follower on the Colt mags rides higher than the Sig Sauer magazine and as a result when its inserted into the gun empty I can't drop the slide and it also tends to foul up the ejection of the last shell casing. Because of the follower it also has a hard time feeding Hornady Custom and Critical Defense ammo however it doesn't struggle with regular FMJ/TMJ.
I've used them at the range and aside from having to pull a casing from the ejection port more than I'd like I can't really complain that much considering they're made for a Colt and they're half the price of the Sig magazines. I'm going to fiddle with the followers a bit to see if I can get that issue sorted out and hopefully I'll be able to trust them a little more because I really do like the flat plate for pocket carry.

I picked up a DeSantis Cozy Partner IWB since I had to cancel my Crossbreed order due to repeated incompetence in delivering what I ordered. I'm not knocking their quality as I know it's good, I just never received what I paid for after months of waiting and repeated promises that it was shipped, shipping or on its way.
The DeSantis is fantastic for the money and I've been wearing it for about 2 weeks now and it has broken in nicely yet I'm able to re-holster without any issue. The only thing that I didn't care for was the unlined leather. I was pulling leather scraps out of my gun for the first week or so. It has a nice forward cant to it that helps conceal it nicely. I can conceal the gun so well that I can now wear just t shirts with both of my preferred carry styles (appendix and 3 o'clock). Not only does it function really well but it looks great and the outer leather has a nice smooth finish.
Take a glance at it on Amazon if you're in need of a holster asap.

Had my p238 Blackwood in a slightly modified "PocketPal" holster for over a year now. It's with me everywhere, everyday, unless I've opted to take along something bigger, and even then I sometimes still keep it in my pocket. I cut out a little leather on the side for the safety and a chunk of the foam core below the muzzle. Have to clean the pocket lint out from under the hammer regularly, but it fits in a jeans front or back pocket, suit jacket inside pocket, or coat pocket easily.
And Yea, I'm one of those Zombie nerds. Loved the Hogue zombie grips when I saw them I just had to buy some.

I'm curious, why carry it in a holster if you have cutouts for the trigger? Solely to hide the shape of the gun while in the pocket?
