That's an idea; however, she's been in the US Senate since 1994. There must be a whole lot of voters who'd have to also go before any major legislative thought/change was noticed. Just sayin'....

So if the buy-back program goes into effect and thieves sell their stolen guns to government then that would make the government in possession of stolen property. Sure Obama, you want to buy my gun? Personally come and get it. :biggrinjester:

How sad. Maybe some of these people would rather have a job than a $1-200 Gift Card to Ralphs? What is a Ralph's, anyway?

Oh well, the streets of LA will be much safer now...and that's what's important, because when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

"Many of the weapons turned in were family heirlooms"

Sounds like all the rusty, non-working junk that's been in Grandpa's shed for decades to me. BTW, Ralph's is a supermarket chain.

I'm sure there was more than one instance where the guns turned in for buyback were stolen. Would the rightful owner be able to recover it if the serial number was on record? I'd be seeking legal advice if the police received my family heirloom gun in the buyback that was reported stolen and they did not allow me to recover it.

I could give $100, or so, for an old rusty non-working Ruger 10/22's.

Dangit. I guess Ima miss out on the buy back. I too was taking a raft out with my guns. I was going to a shooting range when on an island when it tumped over.

Syria disarmed anyone but their thugs (shabiha, i.e, murders and outlaws and convicts) so far 45,000 killed and like 500,000 missing and 1 millions are displaced as refugees.

2013 - U.S. Government tried to disarm her citizens. Failed to do so. Entire government replaced with citizen representatives that swore and held accountable to uphold the Constitution.
