I agree that it is improbable that checkpoint will be set up by any school to make an example of a few people. But Obama has already done things that were improbable at the time.

I just want Charles and the NRA to be ready for anything. Because if they aren't, Obama will run roughshod over us.

Enough said.
What has the NRA done to get ready for what's coming?

I was at NRA last Tuesday through last night along with other Board Members, staff and fellow attorneys. I know the legal research done, contingency plans, "what-if" scenarios conducted, briefs already written, and overall plans. What information do you have?

Chas.

Charles,

Why do you think I have any inside idea what the NRA has done and why would you ask me that? I have said nothing to that effect.

I am a NRA member and see what they say publicly. That is all I know. I don't see them publicly showing much attention to the Executive Order/reg issue and the statement I have seen recently from NRA spokesmen seem to me to be entirely about legislation which indicates to me BAU thinking. That is my perception, nothing more. If my perception is wrong, so be it. Maybe nothing is coming out publicly because they don't want to tip their hand. If so, great.

Obviously you are an insider and are far more aware of what the NRA is working on than me. I am simply encouraging you and hopefully through you the NRA to think out of the box. Nothing more.

If I have insulted you in any way, I certainly did not mean to. Sorry.

Would be interesting to know what the outcome of a speeding stop in a school zone would be for an out of stater. Especially with the duty to inform.

Stroo,

I am a Life Member of the NRA. I have learned that the Board of Directors are probably pretty-good poker players. They don't show their hand unless they have to.
