I dislike glocks because they force you to use an other than natural grip, slide bite because the grip is too short, and mags pinch me while shooting brass directly back into my face. Otherwise I am sure they are a fine firearms. I just happen to prefer the XD series of polymer pistols.. But thanks for making assumptions and snide remarks based on years of experience..
Slide bite occurs in one of two ways, both of which are due to operator decisions and / or actions.
You can review the causes and possible solutions
here and
here.
Excaliber, thanks as the second one described it most accurately thanks.
I will refrain from responding to the personal attacks from the valued members as it won't benefit the thread or add anything of value to the board as a whole. As to the rest I wish you the best and enjoy the products. I can't help those that have no desire to learn.
I'm glad that was helpful.
The slow motion video on the second link makes it possible to see what you couldn't otherwise because it happens too fast.

I did not know the cause of "slide bite" was that elusive. I guess that's one less thing I need to learn.

I do. At minimum, I ask them to apply the same rules to NY cops that NY cops apply to citizens.
This is what's wrong with America. You're blaming the cops
Where did he blame the police? All I see in him asking Magpul to apply the same rules to police and plumbers.
What's really wrong with America is people who think government employees shouldn't have to follow the same rules as the citizens who pay for the salaries and pensions and perks of those government employees.

The NY cops didn't make those rules. The politicians did. The cops are charged with enforcing the law. They don't get to pick and choose which laws they enforce without consequences to their careers and lives.
