BINGO! This is what came to mind when I heard Chechens were the culprits. Two wars with the Russians some years back as they tried to break away, and lots of hatred. However, other than if they were hard-core Islamists, why would Chechens bomb the Boston Marathon? A race in Moscow, I would understand. I'm scratching my head for now on this one, though.

Things have been slowing down for the last 70 minutes or so. No major reports after the shooting and blast at a house in Watertown.
Officers in the areas appear more relaxed than earlier.

Went to the same prestigious high school as Ben Afflick and Matt Damon. and they are not Texas CHL's. How did they legally get all those guns in Boston?

I am sure the residents of Watertown, MA can answer the question: "Why does anyone
need an AR-15 and 30 round
clip".

And now that shelter in place order has been given and is apparently being followed (good) I wonder how many of those regular citizens wish they had a gun in their hands in case one of these fleeing terrorists decides to break through their door looking for a place to hide.
Chris Wallace on FoxNews just said live on air that he would be asking DiFi this same question on his Sunday show.
Wonder if he reads TexasCHLForum?

Near as I can tell they robbed a 7 eleven for money. Then ambushed a police officer in his car just because they are evil. Then car jacked a Mercedes Benz with the driver because they had no wheels. But the Mercedes was low on gas so they stopped for gas, when the victim escaped and I presumed he called the police. Who spotted the car and began the chase.
I suspect with their photos on TV they decided they needed to get out of Boston.

Please don't insult the Russians. These guys appear to be Muslims possibly from Chechnya or a nearby region.
I would bet all those locked down that own guns are glad they have them, and the lib's that don't are wishing they had one.

Blame the AP, not the messenger.

Victim did not escape, he was let go. They told him they were the bombers (bragged about it) Made him withdraw money from ATM's. Police were activating tracking on the Mercedes when they were spotted.

One must be very careful about what one asks for as one just might receive it.
