Folks,

I am still under probation for improper use of a kitchen appliance and intentional failure to conceal bad cooking. Once I finish my probation which consists of dinner out at wife's choice of location each Friday for ...ummm. some time to come-- can I then purchase these class III cooking devices of which some speak ?

I can't belive it was pointed out and printed.
Ultimately this is unsurprising, although more than a little gratifying, considering that at the end of the day virtually any consumer product can be repurposed for violence. We didn't regulate garden supplies after the Oklahoma City fertilizer bomb, nor the plumbing industry when pipe bombs went off at Atlanta's 1996 Olympic Games. We can't treat appliances any differently. Two men found a way to stretch a benign tool in a perverse direction, but that doesn't mean we can try to bubble wrap the nation. April 15 wasn't even the first time we've seen a pressure cooker bomb, as one was unsuccessfully used in the 2010 attempted Times Square bombing.

and this, kind of make you think, what is the truth here, now I can see bringing in your own pressure cooker they are expensive for a good one, but that combined with the missing passport page does raise a few red flags.

Williams-Sonoma has decided to temporarily halt the sale of pressure cookers in its Massachusetts stores, Patch reports.

I think this is a little overboard. If this is proper move then companies need to stop selling ball bearings, cell phones and back packs too.

Quinoa (keenwa). Is a super healthy grain. It's similar to rice, you could say, in that it cooks the same way. It's been used by Incan warriors due to being high in energy from the protein. Vegetarians and health nuts eat it most often. They sell it in a huge bag at Costco very well priced. It's not everyone's cup of tea. I hide it in lots of things like chili, soups, or stews. What the family doesn't know won't hurt them!

I hate my pressure cooker! It scares me to use the darn thing having knocked the regulator off several times and had a screaming volcano spewing from my stove! This is just one more reason to keep it in the attic.
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
