Shoot my city bans the possession of fireworks with in the city limits and bans the use of air rifles in town. But they turn a blind eye on it unless your a teen and some calls and complains .

I'd love to teach my nephew to shoot using a bb gun but I'm afraid of our neighbors and their despise for my way of life. I miss the days of running care free.

What kind of setup do you have? I just made a heck of a back stop and shot from inside the house out. So the only sound was MAYBE the sound of wood getting a small quick pop.

Thread jacking my own thread. I am completely immersed in the world that is airsoft now. I had no clue the extent that people have gone to produce the things I am finding available. I have recently learned of a replica glock blow back 6mm bb pistol. 168.00 though! I have full intentions of getting one to "dry fire" That seems like quite a bit of money to me but then I looked at ammo and gas and it really isn't. I have looked at CO2 operated ones as well. I was initially turned off of the idea when I was watching the trigger pull on a lot of them. Till I found the more expensive ones essentially are the same gun just different ammo. Diagonally my two car garage is ideal for shooting practices. Anyone gone this route yet?

Do any sporting goods chains carry green gas for airsoft guns? I can find Crossman and Daisy CO2 cartridges but not the gas cylinders to charge the better airsoft guns. The guy at Academy had no clue what I was talking about.

I can buy them online but with shipping charges being what they are, I was hoping to find something in stores, even if I have to wait until my next trip to a big city.

I was made to go 'stand in the corner'; IOW, put on detention back around the first of the year and not allowed to speak until my sentence was served. Since then, I've found interests in addition to CC. Thanks for asking.

I say go with a .22 and CB Caps. CCI makes them still, they are very quite and will do what any airgun will do.I use them to kill Redsquirrels all the time.

The price for amount of ammo doesn't seem at all worth it. Plus can it be shot in any .22? It's 45 for a box of 100 vs 15.00 for about 10,000

I guess I'm late to the party regarding pellet gun laws, but after I evicted a cantankerous squirrel from our roof I considered getting a pellet gun. I found some likely candidates, then it occurred to me to check local ordinances. My how times have changed. To shoot a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun requires 10 acres of land. So whether I bought a $50 BB gun or a $500 pellet gun I could only shoot it at a gun range or a friend that owns 10 acres of land. Oh, and the fine is $2000! I suspect it would also have an adverse affect on my CHL. Whats happened to our country?

Ring neck doves are not native and can be hunted year round. Not sure if the pellet gun rule applies to them though. I hear they are tasty.

Buy an airsoft propane adapter and get the green coleman camping propane tanks. Obviously don't fire your airsoft around an open flame! Propane gives you more power and is widely available and much cheaper than green gas.
