This reminds me of the story about the Yankee who was getting divorced and wasn't sure if she would still be his sister,

As well as several vendors asked if my firearm was unloaded with no magazine. But then again there was one vendor there selling switchblade knives and I overheard him tell one person they were legal to carry in Texas. A ton of people must have heard him tell that to plenty of people because not five minutes later they came over the loud speaker warning people that at this time switch blade knives are not legal and to please remove them from vending hall if you have one.....
Long story short, legal seems to be in the eye of the beholder.......
There was a vender selling adapters for ARs that u put on a oil filter to create a ghetto surpressor. Another was selling brass knuckles as belt buckles.

The oil filter suppressor adaptor is legit...you just pay the stamp for the adapter and just change the filters when they wear out...

Ammo was outrageous. WWB 9mm FMJ $55, .223 steel case 20rds $15. I bought 100rds of 9mm reloads for $28, not too bad of a price. I was amazed on how much these vendors wanted for ammo. Got two Gen 3 Pmags for $30, everyone else wanted $20 for gen 2, no thanks jeff.

Ammo was very high! But so was everything else. Sad to say, but right now it is cheaper to go to cheaper than dirt and shop.

There were some decent deals, the pmags and the 100rds of reloads I thought was a fair price. I just can't see how some of these vendors sleep at night pricing this stuff so high. One asked me if I wanted to buy the 50rd box of Federal FMJ for $35, I said "nope, I got 3 boxes at Walmart last week for 13 bucks a box, good luck selling it."
He told me if I have a bunch I should start selling it for a big profit. I said "no, I don't like taking advantage of people"

No ammo or mags? What is this, MidwayUSA?....
I don't see how they would have a legal leg to stand on if your gun was secured & tied, but you have a loaded mag/strip/speedloader in your pocket....

I find the whole situation hypocritical....I can walk five feet inside the room and buy a magazine and a box of ammo......

Of course they're hypocrites. It's a gun show posting an anti-gunner sign.

By the way, the argument that the lessee can post where the owner can't is false logic. The owner cannot grant rights to the lessee the the owner doesn't have. For example, if I own a piece of land, but not the mineral rights, I cannot lease the property to to an oil company on the basis that it's the lessee that's drilling, not me.
Just ask the private company that leases Fair Park from the city of Dallas every summer for the state fair. They tried to post and eventually had to stop and allow CHL carry.

It's cool to look but not worth 7 bucks to do so. I doubt I will go to any more for awhile till prices drop. I still cannot believe how much ammo still is.

Good to know to avoid them.
