Cops are not obligated to help you. It is not in their employment contract. The "protect" and serve stuff is just bull stuff. There is no "protect" obligation. If the cops do save your hide, it is voluntary and out of the goodness of their hearts. YOU are the only one obligated to protect you and what's yours. Young liberals that I speak to never seem to really grasp this concept. Only old liberals kinda understand it. At least the ones I've met and befriended.
