Carry-a-Kimber wrote:No, this is real. I tried to tell her it is an incredibly unsafe thing to do, she said I was underminding her parenting skills. She doesn't think it is unsafe because "it will only be there when I am asleep".Pecos wrote:bdickens -I think that was suspose to be a Facebook Humor joke-Dont think is real. (Hope it's not real)!!!!

you mean to tell me this was the mom's idea???? O.M.G.
as much as I despise and I mean despise CPS I'd be tempted to threaten her with them. Tell her you're not undermining her parenting skills, you're trying to keep her and her kid alive. And that gun will "only be there when she's asleep" and when she's gone somewhere else she's not allowed to carry or when she's wearing something that doesn't working with the gun

She had her boy in the photo to show he couldn't reach it, so that part is staged.bizarrenormality wrote:My opinion is it looks staged. Like that shotgun video on youtube.

Wait a minute. Hanging a pistol on a nail is parenting skill? No way.Carry-a-Kimber wrote:No, this is real. I'm with you on this one. It would take a lot to get me to even consider talking to CPS, but this just might do it if there was nothing else I could do to change her mind.SewTexas wrote:Carry-a-Kimber wrote:No, this is real.
