I just heard on WBAP that is was an "assault riffle", but if CA has banned ARs I guess gun control doesn't work of course. I pray for the victims and their families and thank God for LE and FBI who responded to the scene.

Don't worry guys, I saw a statement that said "Sen. Dianne Feinstein is monitoring the situation at LAX closely". She'll come up with a logical response to this incident I'm sure... (quote is real, the rest is sarcasm)

It was NOT an "assault rifle". An EYEWITNESS said he saw a pump-shotgun and a handgun. Watch the video here:

The type of firearms are mentioned at the end of the video. More false reporting, most likely, just like the initial reports about the Navy Yard shooter.

Then what was the photo I saw of an LAPD officer standing over an AR-15 looking rifle and a 30 round magazine off to the side along with what looked like blood?

Couldn't tell you. But I know what the man in the video said...and I know how much the media hates firearms.

And looking at the pic, it looks more like a "tactical" Mini-14 with a multi-position stock.

But but but......guns aren't allowed in airports...didn't the criminal intent on doing harm see the sign? Doesn't he know he is going to be in more trouble because he violated the gun free zone? As has been shown time and again those intent on committing murder don't give a darn about signs.

Glad the Calvary showed up and stopped the murderous wretch. As much as I hate the TSA no one deserves that.

Just saw this comment from the Mayor:

"Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said at a news conference later Friday that the gunman had with him at least 100 more rounds of ammunition that “literally would have killed everyone in that terminal"

Read that the conspiracy nuts are already saying this was staged to further the gun control agenda and there proof is the fact the airport police chief stated they had gone through active shooter training 3 weeks ago :smash:

LA times saying suspect had an AR 15. We'll see if they got that right. The LE weapon wouldn't be lying on the ground. It would be surrendered later during the investigation. Under CA law the ar-15 is an assault rifle and there is no way a 23 year old could legally have purchased as there appears to be a magazine lying next to the rifle. They would have rendered the rifle safe after taking the suspect down.
The incident Friday began, police say, when Ciancia entered Terminal 3 through the main door, pulled an AR-15 assault rifle out of a bag and "began to open fire."

I just bought the LE6920, no magpul because I want the magpul furniture to be pink (insert jokes here) and a quadrail. I paid $995, THE BEST price I've seen. The magpul edition was only $1059. I want it thank gguess66 for posting about this place. They have EVERYTHING I've been searching high and low online to find. GT Distributors is an awesome awesome place!
