If I am at my house and I drink and get over 0.08, do I have to have a friend come and take away all my guns until I sober up the next morning?
The premise of the whole line of thought is ridiculous. If you can't be trusted to be responsible with a gun after a few drinks, then you probably shouldn't have one when you're sober either.

IANAL, but I would tend to disagree that the law is meant to prevent you from carrying in your own home and enjoying adult beverages. 99.9% of the time I am carrying openly in my own home, so I wouldn't not even be carrying under the authority of my CHL.

I can't speak for WB, but I was commenting on the second sentence which seemed to be more big picture related than the first sentence.
I don't care what you do in your home as long as it stays in your home and doesn't result in the injury or abuse of an innocent person.

I can think of several situations that YOU may disagree with your own statement. Lets start with slightly above .08 and hunting. That doesn't fly in most deer camps. I'm not saying you shouldn't have guns in the house if your drinking....but carrying a gun when your drunk (legally) is... how did BO say it acting stupidly.
