Hey, Zappa quotes Harlan Ellison!
But my favorite is Einstein's "Two things are infinite, as far as we know – the universe and human stupidity."

Actually exposed to my sister in law the other day that I carried. We were talking self defense and I said instead of going to get a pedicure with your sister (my wife) why don't you let me pay for you two to go take a shooting class, then you can go through the process of getting your CHL. My wife can shoot and does quite well just hasn't found the need for CHL even though I've been pushing it. Long story short she (SIL) ask when I carried. I gave her my standard answer "Only when I have my pants on" other than my wife she is the only person I've ever told.

Human discourse in the age of social media is rife with stupidity (note, though, that stupidity in human endeavors has been around far longer than social media). Ill-advised notions are seen everywhere, and some of them are truly harmful to the cause of promoting the right to own and use proper tools for self-defense. I am a staunch advocate for being armed where legal, and for properly stowing arms if you have to go where it is not legal to be armed -- always keeping in mind that Liberty goes hand in hand with responsibility, accountability and discretion.
