Nicely-made, strong spring. I like that the base-plate is kind of wedge-shaped, so it goes into my mag-well nicely:
It looks very well made, but the Allen wrench might get in the way fitting in the mag-well.
Great pictures too! :tiphat:
I look forward to your range report. :thumbs2:

Great pics Andy. It looks well made. And let us know how it functions after you've run it through its paces at the gun range. :thumbs2:

I forgot - one more pic:

What's the capacity of that Mag? I have one of the newer RIA Commander in 10mm and love it. It makes a nice compliment to my Ruger Commander in .45.

You're doing it wrong, Andy. You''re supposed to catch the bullet in your teeth, not the follower. :biggrinjester: ;-)

I'll be interested to see how this addresses the spreading of the feedlips or cracking in the rear of the magazine.

Have they said if these use the older PowerMag followers or PowerMag+ style followers? The PowerMag+ followers are supposed to not jump forward on the last round and ding your frame if you were concerned with that kinda thing. I heard it was more of an concern with alloy 1911's.

I just read the instructions which came with the magazine, and for a nice change, the mag is disassembled from the bottom (called EZ Clean). Doh.

If something isn't working, here's the universal troubleshooting protocol:

1. Turn it on
2. Plug it in
3. Change the batteries
4. If all else fails, and ONLY if all else fails, stop and read the directions.....
