There is dread truth in the notion Obama is the worst thing since the A-bomb unleashed against Hiroshima.

I must ask, in advance, forgiveness for having a sense of satire even in this. If Obama does anything to disrespect my Dad's generation's sacrifices I will never recover from the frustration. My Dad took up arms in defense of his country. In this American crisis there is nothing decent people can do. We're whipped. I'll keep voting, writing, persuading, everything I can do, but it won't make a dent.

With apologies for the sarcastic voices that just won't shut up, I recently did a little analysis of Obama's effect on America vis-a-vis the national debt. I readily concede his partners in crime include Congress at large, including Republicans.

Obama has added about $10,000,000,000,000 to the national debt.

Once the dollar has been rendered into garbage someone will have to take out all that trash and do something with it. For the purpose of this analysis, I assume it will be burned.

Since a dollar bill weighs about .0022 pounds, the $10,000,000,000,000 Obama borrowed on our behalf is about 22,046,200,000 pounds of paper (or about the payload capacity of 88,681 747's).

A pound of paper releases about 6,200 BTU when burned. The Hiroshima bomb released something more than 59,484,000,000 BTU.

Obama's debt, by my figuring, was therefore an attack against American equivalent to about 2,310 Hiroshima bombs.

It ain't funny.

Can this great nation please come to its collective senses?

Here is a very article regarding the war and the use of nukes at that time in history.

If you want to read about Hiroshima, I suggest the book by John Hersey.
He visited Japan a year after the bomb was dropped and interviewed some of the survivors.
He wrote the book in 1946. I first read it back in the early 60s. A very powerful book.

So let me understand :headscratch

Obama went to Japan and called for a world without nuclear weapons.....yet he lied to the American public and gave Iran the capabilities to develop nuclear weapons?

Breitbart recommends Congress censure Obama for the Hiroshima speech.

I initially typed Trump instead of Breitbart, a Freudian slip. Seeing the photo above, I have always felt Trump reminded me a lot of Patton. That is the one thing I worry about now that he is the nominee apparent, he may suffer Patton's same fate. The violence at his rallies, has not calmed those fears one bit.

From the article:
The contrast to President Harry S. Truman could not have been clearer.

Reflecting on the decision to bomb Japan years later, Truman declared: “That bomb caused the Japanese to surrender, and it stopped the war.
I don’t care what the crybabies say now, because they didn’t have to make the decision.”
Also, don't forget that it wasn't until we dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, that the Japanese finally surrendered.

No matter what Obama says, he's adhering to Saul Alinsky's evil agenda ...they're snakes and will say whatever aggrandizes their agenda...

Has there been an incident of Trump supporters getting violent? The only incidents I'm aware of was the opposition getting violent. :headscratch

Breitbart writer says he would not be alive if Truman did not drop the bomb. Thanks him and tells Obama where to go. Sorry may violate forum rules due to word at the very end.

I'm still confused. How does the violent actions of people who are against Trump reflect poorly on Trump?

FYI, I'm not defending anyone. I'm just trying to wrap my head around what it appears you said above. I know the media tried to blame the violence on Trump, but I don't understand how any thinking person can believe that. :tiphat:

EDIT: Nevermind. I guess I was reading wrong. Now I understand that you were stating the violence of the opposition makes you think that someone may try to do away with Trump. Sometimes I can be pretty dense. :banghead:
