I apparently missed the point of this thread. Maybe y'all are right, he should offer to show her his glock, if she'll show him hers?

Well, think about why you're carrying and
stop it if you really don't know why!
Simply emphasize that she's safer when you're around to protect her. And she should learn how to handle a gun for when you're away.

You guys are too much. Luckily hunting came up while she was talking about family so I brought it up then. She barely batted an eye. Actually talked about going to the range. So I'd say it was a success. She also laughed at the fact that I had a thing with her twin sister very briefly about a year ago. So this one may work out pretty well.
