Definitely a democrat to the chagrine of democrats. That's one of the reasons I like the show so much even though it scares me a little.

Staying well away from scribd's servers so I'm not in the blast radius of the "accident."

Slightly off topic, but I avoid Quora like the plague. I used to post there quite frequently, and they even published one of my responses to a certain topic on the HuffPo blog as a blog post in its own right. But, I was banned for having asked the question of a lesbian activist in one thread how trampling on the 1st Amendment rights of the religious was any different from fascism .....or in fact, any different from trampling on the sexual preference rights of LGBTQs. In the context of the thread, it was a legitimate question, but it carried the implication that the person in question must either repudiate her previous statement OR be revealed as a fascist. She complained to Quora, and they banned me. They didn't even respond to my reply to the notification email that I withdrew my permission to publish my other post to the HuffPo blog, and demanded it be taken down.

The vast majority of the threads started on Quora are simply leftist straw man statements which they then invite conservatives and/or libertarians to disprove. They never do the same toward conservative/libertarian POVs. Quora is, for the most part, one of the most intellectually void websites on the web.

TAM, I didn't realize that about Quora. I can't say that I've paid much attention to it in the past. I just did a Google search for "Frank Underwood democrat" and it was one of the hits. Thanks for the heads up. Will keep it in mind in the future.
