He was obviously safer when he was locked up and could be kept under watch. If he commits suicide Obama is responsible for allowing him the freedom to succeed.
Someone so obviously mentally disturbed shouldn't be allowed to roam the streets. But then again...there's Pelosi, Waters, Jackson-Lee, etc.

Oh oh, got a reason.

Since he was pardoned, could he now buy a black semi automatic rifle and commit mass murder as he commits suicide? Would it be the rifles fault or the N R A?

Was he pardoned or had sentence commuted? I forgot.

Commuted. He is still a convicted felon.

I am ashamed of the posts that would seem to advocate in favor of Manning committing suicide. Whether you agree with someone on a political or social level, they are still a human life, and they have people that would still have to deal with the aftermath of that suicide. We should be better than this.

I sincerely hope that suicide never touches your lives.

Suicide is real tough on survivers. I understand I'am one. I Llost my dad while I was a young teen. All the same those of us who have served will find the antics of Manning detestable. He deserved and earned the ultimate punishment. He betrayed our nation. He should be dead not running around free making a mockery out of His service his Oath and our nations security.

Right off the bat, this person is a fraud.

His name is: Bradley Edward Manning - A traitor to his country. A turncoat.

Some are offended by wishing he'd leave the planet by his own hand..

Offering up how awful it is when suicide touches you. Well, it has me. In this case a family member. Yes, it was sad, but why should I care more about him, then he did for himself? Forget the grief he caused his family. This selfish anal sphincter 'wanted' to create grief. As a human being he was a failure. No wonder he commited suicide. Much as it saddens me to say, he's better off. He couldn't handle life... Se Le Vie....He could've done it in a way that left wonder, (like simply disappearing) but he did it with a big splash. Hey, more misery for the family. Do I feel sorry for him. A little bit. Mostly disgust.

If you're really trying to cap yourself, you'll succeed. There's no 'he tried' to commit...If checking out is your goal, you will, first try...In Bradley's case, just another 'look at me, look at me' effort. The guy's a nutter who should still be serving time, but unlike if I did what he did while in the service I'd still be in Leavenworth.

I've no sympathy for such weaklings. He should stand in front of a firing squad the traitor.
