Rosenthal does not have any LEOs, and he cannot issue mandates or orders to LE agencies. All he can do is prosecute cases that are sent to his office.

Trust me, Rosenthal made it perfectly clear that he is no friend of the RTKBA.

Apparently, he (and his fellow DAs in various parts of Texas) don't know that when they give instructions to "their" officers.

Anyway, it's two sides of the same coin, the police won't arrest anybody if their is no case to prosecute. And if the prosecution is telling them that their is a case to prosecute...well.
