Pawpaw,

Hang in there.

I know this is a nerve racking time, but you'll be doing great once the surgery is complete.

I'm supposed to get a call Monday or Tuesday to schedule the surgery.
 Good grief

Get it done, my friend - we'll be here.
Paw paw, Prayers for a good outcome. I know the issue is not just cloudiness, the vitreous gel can tug on the retina, causing a detached retina. I have significant floaters and my opthamologist watches them closely. My twin brother lost vision in his left eye for the same reason.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely going to have it done and I know it will greatly improve my vision in my right eye for now. This appears to be only the first stage in a series of struggles I will be having in the future. Not only did the doctor see what he thinks might be macular degeneration (which the surgery should reveal), he also said it won't be long before the cataract in that eye starts affecting my vision. He says it's much more advanced that the one in my left eye.

My biggest concern with this surgery has been me panicking during the procedure. This doctor has no problem with putting me completely out. I think I prefer that.

Don't be worried. I have had it done and they easily sedate you. There is no pain. You won't panic, believe me.

As long as we've known each other, my excuse for missing has never changed. If I have time to think about it - I miss. :???: If I would just bring the gun up and shoot, I'd hit more. You've seen that.

Today's the day. I'll be leaving home soon and the surgery is this afternoon.

I doubt I'll want to use the computr tonight with one eye patched. We'll see.
