I was just reading in a USMC publication last week about a ceremony at the American Embassy, Beirut in 2014 where the Marine Security Guard (MSG) detachment was re-established after nearly 30 year absence of MSG's at the embassy. I have more then a passing interest in this as I was a MSG at the American Embassy, Port-au-Prince, Haiti in the early sixties. While there I and the 5 (that was all of us) other Marines became good friends of a former Marine who lived in Haiti who was from Lebanon. From his stories about Lebanon it was a nice place to live and visit.

I am sorry for your water problem. Where I live a lady went out of town for the week-end and when she returned she could see water running out of her house from under the front door. She had a real mess.
To my Surprise, the US Embassy, conducted a 4th of July celebration, albeit it was private event only.

Amazing boat you have! You flew it there just to put it in the water, then flew it back! :biggrinjester:
