I think most businesses will give the AARP discount to anyone requesting it that looks above a certain age.
My FIL requests one just about everywhere he goes.

TSRA is the lobbying group for the RKBA in Texas. They are responsible for the progress made to date, and need our support in the future.

TSRA has done a lot for Texas CHL's in particular. They are fighting for our rights in Austin and have worked hard to lower our fees as CHL's.
Membership is very affordable. The least we can do give them back some of the support that they have given us.

Thanks. I don't know the whole history of the origin of CHL, but I think it's safe to say that it would not have happened without the TSRA. Every legislative session we see bills for things like waiting periods and restricting gun shows, that the TSRA gets killed.

I promise I will get my membership the day they make an effort to treat my party fairly. I might even do the lifetime thing.
