Aw, man, that's a sweet combination, there.dws1117 wrote:...that one of my next guns will be a Blackhawk in .41 Mag.
My own Blackhawk is a .45 Colt, and it's a hoot. Whether I'm shooting 250-grain lead slugs at 850 fps or Hornady XTPs at 1300 fps, it's loads of fun.
I'm carefully staying away from the local gunshop, because they've got a Super Blackhawk Stainless there...
Gotta love them Ruger Single Actions, huh?

Here's my smallest blued wheelgun. A 1972 Colt Detective Special sporting Eagle Secret Service grips.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
I have a couple of revolvers I carry from time to time.
Field carry is my Customized Stainless Ruger Redhawk in .41magnum, with the barrel shortened to 4".

Concealed carry is handled in one of two ways....but sometime both.
A customized Stainless Ruger DAO GP-100 from Gemini Customs and a Ruger 2" DAO GP-100.
