I just received word that the plastic arrived today.

I can't wait to get home and check it out. A BIG thanks to rpecunia for all your work on the tracking process. Hope you get your license soon!

I didn't do the full Wally Walk, since my wife is sick and couldn't go with me, but I did go to Academy and Brookshire's tonight while carrying. I went to Academy first, and I was very self-conscious there, but by the time I got to the grocery store I had relaxed. All in all it's kind of anti-climactic now. LOL...
I carried my Taurus PT-145 in a Bianchi 105 Minimalist holster under my coat. I'm hoping to go shopping for a new 1911 this weekend or next week, maybe a Kimber...

Plastic in hand yesterday, 2/22!!!
woo hoo!
haven't had a chance to go anywhere yet with my CCW, and I have to work a double today (0600-2200), so I won't get to carry in the immediate future, but now I can!!!
Thanks again, rpecunia for keeping the chart updated!!!

Thank you! And thanks for keeping all the stats as well. January has been a pretty good month for new CHL holders.

I definitely think they process them in batches...it would be interesting to take a tour of the office and see the process in action.
Maybe we should ask Rene to join the forum.
