Dutton is playing the race card, he needs to realize that the courts can settle this whether the amendment is in the bill or not. The amendment merely repeats the law that is already there. I am not an attorney and this is not to be construed as legal advice.

Instead of getting all stressed out about what the LEO's might do if you are observed open carrying, why not wait until you experience something then base your fears on fact, a novel approach to things I know, but let's try it.

98% of all police know your rights, better than you do, and know their authority. They don't want to deal with you anymore than you want to deal with them. Personally I don't have a problem with an officer asking me for my CHL.. not one bit. But then again, I do not intend to open carry. I have done so, for 5 1/2 years as plain clothes police officer. Believe me, it is highly over rated...
If I have offended you, so be it, I hate fear based on speculation and wild imaginations. If you are that concerned about how the police will respond to open carry, carry concealed, it is really that very simple.

based upon some many of the open carry videos I've watch I have to agree with Dutton. A lot of police don't know the law (the 4th amendment) when applying it in such an unusual interaction.

A motion to recall the conference committee? Assume that is only if this concurrence fails?
