still waiting.. 90days today since they recieved my packet. 87 days since they cashed my check

GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT!

chl class = March 1
mailed apps = March 3
received pin = May 23
says license issued on website = May 31.......IN THE MAIL....COMING SOON!
Both the wife and I Received Plastic = today = June 4, 2008

Too tired to Wally-walk tonight......maybe tomorrow.....Report to follow....SOON!

Mine was a clean app - meaning to say no past record and I didn't have to go back and submit any extra documents.

I never called DPS to check on my status either. Just watched my status online.

I believe it was on about day 75 after hand delivering the packet that the online status changed to "Application Completed - License issued or certificate active"

Today is Saturday - Guess I'll be camping out next to the mailbox today....
Well it's Tuesday evening now, and still no plastic . Status had changed Saturday to "Completed"...
So I guess I'll be sitting here yet another day......
Sweltering since my A/C here at home died on Friday and I'm still waiting for the A/C guy ....

How long does it usually take for DPS to mail the plastic in?

I was approved this past weekend and I still haven't seen my plastic come through yet.

LarryH makes some darn good points, and it was very effective in evening out my keel (or something like that). It's good to see that folks whose apps were (along with mine) received in March are getting their plastic, so I imagine it'll be any day for those of us who did likewise. I'm still sad for the folks who've been waiting since February or (sheesh) January, though.

Mailed April 16th. receieved yesterday,

June 4th. Took about 56 days. This was my second renewal.

Pin Received: May 18
Application Complete: June 5

Checked my status this afternoon........and

APPLICATION COMPLETE - LICENSE ISSUED

I m not sure if the 90 days + wait was worth it, I will let you know when I m holding the plastic.

90 days today. and that's about my time frame. Maybe any day now. i just hate that online web site checker. It doesn't give you any "real" current status.

Yeah, I hate it too

Still says "Packet Mailed to Applicant", but email works to get "real" current status, which is "Waiting to process"

i got this email today, but online it still say processing application. anyone else get this?

79 days since they received my application 6 days after sending an email to get my status, I get this.

Your application has not been entered into the system. It is likely going though the processes required before entry. When a completed application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your PIN number.

Welcome to the club. The "not yet entered into the system" club is getting larger all the time. They told me Friday that the mid march applications are just now being entered. If your at 79 days, yours is getting closer.

That's crazy, 80 days to get into the system? And this is BEFORE it's actually processing to be accepted?
