Mine arrived today! 50 days mail box to mail box

When did you receive your mailed status? I sent mine in the same day you did, and got my "mailed" status yesterday.

My went to "Mailed" on 3/13

Okay awesome, I live in Austin, so hopefully by Monday or Tuesday! 52 or 53 days for me from drop off at dps to mailbox. Boy, that was an adventure trying to find the Dropbox. I hope you had a good time carrying today.

Sunday batches are most likely a hoax.

If your trying to log in and see if yours is updated...and it seems a tad slow...it's not slow from being updated.


My constant checking is most likely to blame.

Started the process on 1/12/2013 submitted electronic, status changed to mailed on 3/17/2013! Now the mailbox watch begins

Mine was 'mailed' last Sunday and received on Friday (in Austin). It was really postmarked on Thurs and received Friday, even though showed 'mailed' on Sunday. Be patient--it will be a long week but worth it

Well the elusive Sunday batch does exists and I was in it! Background Check "Complete" 31 days today. To save the the research can someone tell me the average days to mailed status...... I bet someone already knows it

By the way I have spent the last week in California and today at the San Diego PD gun range. I am so glad to go through this process (long or short) as a Texan.

Went to Manufacture Pending this morning.

Mine has been in Background Check since February 11.....checked this morning (didn't check at all this weekend)....license in mail. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa

Still in background check...

I've been in bg check with a "fingerprint under review" since 3/1. I think some people who went into bg check without the fingerprint thing have already received plastic. I have lots of tiny little scars on my fingertips from soldering work, and these never fail to furrow the brows of fingerprint technicians. Plus,I was arrested for DWLS back in '95, so I'm sure that will land my app on yet another slow boat.

Knowing how special-ness like mine tends to bog down in any given buracracy, I'm thinking I might give them a call if I don't see anything by June... early July.

However, it seemed like there was something about them having to make a determination within 60 days from the time they start the review. Anybody familiar with this?


Here's my timeline for what it's worth...

0. 1/18: Started Application Online
1. 1/19: CHL CLass
2. 1/24: Got Fingerprinted at L1; Required Materials Submitted Online
3. 1/25: First Update: Waiting on required materials
4. 2/06: Email Response: "Received the documents"
5. 3/01: Second Update: Fingerprints and Background Check: Under review
6. 3/18: Bupkis. Nada. Zilch (cricket cricket...)

Not familiar but others are getting plastic way faster than some.
The wait continues...

DPS has done their part. Now just waiting on the mail...and waiting...and waiting...
