Newsweek Jumps the Gun on What Trump Was Doing For Thanksgiving — Gets Egg on Its Face
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/juliorosa ... e-n2557233
Newsweek ran a story asserting the commander-in-chief was spending the Thanksgiving holiday "tweeting, golfing and more" before it was revealed President Trump made an unannounced visit to U.S. military members in Afghanistan on Thanksgiving.
The author of the article deleted her tweet and sent a correction, saying "it was written before knowing about the president’s surprise visit to Afghanistan-an honest mistake."
Ms. Kwong, it's not a "honest mistake" if you say something before you know the truth. It's called a lie. Making assumptions is not journalism, not that all of you in the media practice "journalism" any more.
The President responds! LOL...
I thought Newsweek was out of business?

I was thinking we should do a protester exchange with Hong Kong. We can send them a couple boat loads of leftists in exchange for their pro democracy people.

Absolutely. Lincoln suspended constitutional protections as if the executive branch had the constitutional power to do so. Republican tyrant.

The Newsweek writer behind a story on President Trump's Thanksgiving plans has been fired but is pushing back on the perception that the published story -- initially leaving out that Trump was visiting troops in Afghanistan, but rather mistakenly saying he would be "tweeting" and "golfing" -- was her fault.

20 now are dead in two day gunfight near US border between police and cartel members. May involve as many as 60 shooters.
Trump may designate the cartels as terrorist organizations, which I think would allow the US to carry out military attacks against the cartels inside Mexico.
Mexican President doesn’t like this.
Yeah I know the shootout is now running on three threads, but this about Trump going to war in Mexico because of the cartels. I am a big proponent of us worrying more about our North and South American continents than places on the other side of the globe, unless they have intercontinental missiles with nuke warheads.

Trump’s attorneys won’t take part in Judicial committee hearings on impeachment. Not given time to prepare for witnesses, or even told who witnesses are. Not given choice of dates to start hearings (starting while Trump is out of the country) not able to call witnesses, etc. Witch-hunt.

Impeachment hearings today.
Constitutional expert who believes Trump should be impeached, mentioned Trump’s son Barron in her testimony today. Melania is fuming over it.
So the constitutional expert, is a woman from California who doesn’t care about her looks and seems perfect for her role today.

HARVARD LAW PROF TELLS A BIG FAT ONE: House Judiciary Committee Democrats led their hearing this morning with Harvard’s Noah Feldman. Later in the day under intense questioning by Rep. Matthew Gaetz (R-Flor.), Feldman claimed he “was an impeachment skeptic before July 25.”
That’s a flat-out misrepresentation by Feldman of his views because he was among the early advocates of impeachment,
beginning March 7, 2017, barely six weeks after President Donald Trump’s inauguration. See three more examples in 2017 and 2018 of Feldman clearly pushing impeachment of Trump:
