Well, I won't be able to see if my plastic arrived until next Tuesday. I'm here in Sunny California vacationing, visiting family and friends. :coolgleamA:

California is zero reciprocity, right? You would probably feel naked if you had been carrying a while before you went.....

Congratulations to everyone that received their plastic. I can't wait to get back from California. I hope that my license will be at home waiting for me when I get back.
On another note, I had an interesting talk with my twin brother, who is a Long Beach Police Officer, on the law abiding citizen's right to carry (properly licensed of course). And we all know how California gun laws are. The general law abiding citizens don't have any way to obtain a license to carry (generally speaking). :banghead: I was a little disappointed about his views but that's a whole other topic. Be safe out there guys! :thumbs2: :txflag:

I had a chat with my brother about CHL stuff as well. He lives outside of Houston. He said he was sorry, but he won't let me carry in his house when I visit. If it were up to him, he wouldn't care, but he knows his wife would have a conniption fit if she found out. (How would she find out?) I'll respect his wishes. His wife is a very huggy type person and likes to put her arm around my waist. I won't risk strife in their house on my account.

I'll just stay with my other brother in Houston.........

Or pay USA1 a visit........

Plastic arrived today. I guess I'm gonna have to buy a holster for one of my other handguns since the 1911 is still in the shop.
