Am I the last one still lurking around in here? Still pending BG/FP... maybe i should call them...

Checked my status today and it said mailed!!!!! OMG the end is near! So next week I will be stalking the mail man. lol

I would. I had promised myself a couple of times when the delays appeared outside of everyone else's experience. What have you got to loose? One of the other members reported that after a phone call, both went green.

I'm still here! I finally called them Wednesday about the holdup, and got the news that the fingerprints were good and that they just haven't updated my status online. I'm still waiting on the BG check though. I've checked my status and they still haven't updated it to show the fingerprints yet. I'm praying that this next week I see some results. I still can't believe that there are people that sent in their paperwork in mid July and got their CHL in the mail WEEKS ago
I think they need to look into the efficiency of their processing. I think they just start a pile and when they have a few left to finish, someone come's in and drops another pile on top of those. For some reason I just can't get that scenario out of my head
I'm just glad I'm not the only one left.

I have a question to ask. Well I know it has probably asked already but I'll ask anyway lol. will i get in trouble if i carry and I don't have my license on my persons. waiting on the mailman to come Tuesday is killing me!

Not advisable. You have no way of knowing weather or not the computer system will show you as a CHL holder yet, and you are required to carry plastic on you while carrying anyway. Do you want to risk losing the license before you even have it in hand?

You must have your CHL with you when you are carrying under authority of TX CHL. It should have been covered in your CHL Class and is a test question.

I just found out that the 2nd of our group of 6 got hers yesterday, 45 days after she mailed.
That's 2/2 of the women and 0/4 of the men I took the class with.

My brother in law insists that women get theirs faster than men. My sister got hers over 3 weeks faster than my BIL, and theirs were sent in at the same time. I sent mine in the same envelope with Mr. Shasta, I've had my plastic in hand since Friday the 13th, he is still pending both fingerprints and BGC.

I recieved mine before my wife. We took the course, and mailed in, were recieved on the same day. She was mfg pending the day i recieved mine.

My wife and I took the class at the same time and our packets were both received the same day (June 16). I received my Plastic on Aug 2. She just went Manufacture Pending on Friday.

I'm still waiting for the BG check to go through..... But at least I'm on the last leg of the process before manufacture. I'm thinking it will go through this week, but I'm not holding my breath
In the meantime, I'll be at the range working on drills and improving my technique.
I hope processing goes quickly for all the rest of us left in the waiting room.
