I've seen a lot of Charter Arms advertisements for their "Pink Lady" revolvers:

I would've bought one for my wife if I'd found an internal hammer model.

Smith and Wesson makes pink grips for the J-frame revolvers:

We settled on one of these before I found her an XD40 that she now prefers to carry.

that 'coach' is cool, I would love the pink LCP, but I don't think they are selling them anymore, they are selling a pretty green, kinda olive, but I settled for a Texas special, I'll carry a black gun, but it's got a Texas star on it!!!! (I've actually been carrying a black gun for a year now, I'm just going a bit lighter)

What are the royalty fees for a "Coach" trademark on a gun?

 OK, so after my post about pink guns not being taken seriously, I go and get an M&P9JG with pink grip inserts so I can tell my IDPA piece from my husbands full size. A tiny piece of me feels hypocritical, while the rest of me that is infected with GNS (Gun Nut Syndrome) can't wait to take it to the range! :fire Can't wait to try some more IDPA! Pink grips and all!

I prefer to have few things that are beautiful, functional, long-lasting quality, and pleasing than to have many things that only partly live up to that. Beautiful craftsmanship is joyous and worthy of commendation and I like to support and embrace it whenever I can afford to do so. I can't yet afford it. lol But for when I can, I'm thinking something like this (minus the Beretta bit):

My husband says I can't put them on my gun.

I just refuse to believe him. I might have to save more for custom work, but mother-of-pearl grips was one of my high importance points and I'm just not ready to give up on that.

If I am carrying a concealed pistol or revolver, I want it to be as inconspicuous as possible; that means not chrome, not SS, and definitely not PINK. However, for my AR-15, dark earth or tan stocks would really look pretier than black. Pink would not be acceptable even for the AR.

An all black gun may conceal easier most of the time but if your method of concealed carry is good the gun color shouldn't matter.

I say dress your gun in any color and with as many decoration as your bank account will allow. If a dressed up gun or a pink gun will get women to carry then it is a good thing.

Men have their BBQ guns and so do we! My AR is my BBQ gun. I like to dress it up because it gets seen more than my carry gun.

I think you may have mis-heard him. He probably said you couldn't put grips like that on HIS gun. Or, he meant you couldn't put them on your gun unless you got a matching set for his as well.... :evil2:

"rlol"

He's more than OK with my adding whatever I want. He just said my gun isn't capable of having after market grips added to it because of the solid wrap-around molded handle. :grumble

We went to the NRA Convention in Pittsburgh and got to see LOTS of colors and grip designs at the vendor exhibits. For those who like the variety of colors, etc, there's definitely a lot of choices out there!!!

(By the way, for those who didn't go to the Convention, you missed a great time. Good speakers, lots of exhibits to look at, seminars, etc. Well worth it.)
