I haven't heard back from ARC about using their facilities. Steve? Charles? Anything from either of you? I'll be happy to check again if y'all haven't heard anything either.

Well, the case didn't settle, but it's over now. How about Saturday, July 19th? How many folks can make it?Charles L. Cotton wrote:That would work fine for me and thanks for setting this up. I'll try to get an available Saturday to you next week. It will depend if a case I have set for trial is going to settle or not.srothstein wrote:Speaking of which, Charles, pick which Saturday and I will ensure the room at the Drury is available. The Drury is on IH-35 at US 290, just north of Downtown Austin. It will seat 20 to 25 people if we want it to. 25 can be a tight squeeze. Would 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. work for the hours?
BTW, don't forget I have you on the schedule to do a seminar at the TexasCHLforum Day at PSC!

I charge $70 at my range, but that includes fingerprints, photos and notary. I don't have a contact for prints in Austin, so I'll take off the fee I pay for prints and make it $65.pt145ss wrote:July 19th...I will be there...I believe two of my co-workers will be there as well. Re: Utah CFP Class in Austin Area
I have confirmed that we have the Travis Room at the Drury Inn reserved from 1:00 to 5:00. The hotel is not posted and is located on the north bound access road of IH-35, just north of the intersection with US 290.
Charles:
Since you do not have a contact for prints in Austin, do you want me to arrange with someone who will take them? I know a few deputies who could do it for the $5 and be very happy about it. Do they need special cards or will regular print cards we use for DPS submittals do?

Charles, any thoughts on doing your "Texas Defensive Laws" class after the Utah class. Utah from 1-5, break for dinner, then 6-9 on Texas stuff? Just a thought, as I REALLY would like to hear your other talk too.

Is there more than 1 Drury Inn in Austin? I'm trying to find it on a map.
