Reply to Venus Pax: My physical condition is not immediately apparent unless I am stiff just getting out of the car or limping from knee trouble. In the road rage incident detailed above my orthopedic problems would not affect my ability to leave in a vehicle, and I would if the option were open. I really wish to avoid damage to my body and my vehicle. Head trauma is cumulative, and I was knocked unconcious for nearly 10 minutes by a truck mirror while crossing the street in Nov. '04 so I really can't just sit and let some belligerent clown hit me in the head. Unfortunately, being unemployed I can't afford a cell phone, but I would not brandish my gun to convince him to leave me alone. That situation indeed presents a dilemma. Leaving beats shooting if it is a practical option.

Revjen,
I would still recommend that you get out if you can, but pull out the gun and fight if you need to. It sounds like that is what you plan to do.
If you ever needed to fight, your disability would be brought up, and it wouldn't look good for the criminal.
