When I sit down to cast, I usually do 1,000 at a time. I use the 6 banger Lee molds.

Yeah, brake cleaner was the first thing we tried and it was no help. Acetone didn't work either and neither did VM&P naptha. There are probably other things that will get the cutting fluids off the mold but we stopped looking after boiling it in dish washer detergent fixed the problem.

You're right about the 6 banger Lee molds, they are just great and really turn out the bullets. They are a real pleasure to use and being aluminum really makes a difference in the fatigue factor. Now I can't decide wheather I want to go to the range and shoot some of my new bullets or fire up the furnace to make some more. :anamatedbanana
