I have a polish tantal AK74 (converted to semi-auto) with a side folder and that little guy is sweet to shoot. Very accurate at 50 yrds with iron sights (less than 2").

That's what I hear about 5.45x39 so I'm excited to give it shoot. Got 160 rds of surplus ready to go.

Here are some pics I took of it. Took it out to range and it shot really well, I was surprised how tight it was grouping with iron sights. The recoil was very manageable and the break seemed to work really well. It's pretty dirty right now as I took pics so excuse that. Once again I think for the money it wasn't to shabby of a deal. Everything is nice and tight still but I'd still like to see what its like after 1k rds.

:iagree: I like me some AK74. I don't own one yet, but that is my next commie purchase. I am going to splurge and get an Arsnenal side folder in 5.45.

I came very close to getting the arsenal but took the risk on the century and so far I feel ok with it, the price difference was just to big and decided the extra cash would go to ammo and mags. I wont completely sign off on it till after I get more rds in it though because there's a rumor out there that rivets have come loose. I already changed the stock out to a collapsible so I am kinda glad I didn't get a side folder since my lop is a max 12.5 and most stocks are a little further out. I plan on getting a 7.62 soon so if anyone out their can measure their underfolder and post its lop id appreciate it, if the uf is to long I may have to get an ace sidefolder so I can get different size options.

Here it is with the tapco 6 position collapsible and mi/uspalm hand rail and pa microdot. I more than likely will change out the plastic tube for a vltor, but that will have to wait. So far I like the set up and the microdot does cowitness rather well. The mi/uspalm forend was not as easy of in install like the package says it took me about 1.5 hours because I had to make some shims for where the barrel stepped down in diameter so it would go on level. Getting the gas tube on right while making sure it was still level on each axis also took a bit. Good thing I will only had to do that once since their are some set screws that you put in to keep the gas tube centered.

You don't have to give up the side folder to have a collapsible stock... you can have both!

Which stalk is that, is it the ati? My main concern was lop and the tapco and the mako had published lengths, can you take measurements at each position please.

It's a Command Arms (CAA) 6-position stock with an ACE side folder mechanism and internal reciever block. I'll post some measurements as soon as I get the chance.

Get some Sellier & Bellot ammo for it. Mine is way more accurate with it than anything else I've found. I mean like 1-1/2" or 2" compared to 5" or 6" and that's with iron sights at 100 yds. And I'm pretty sure someone with better eyesight could do better. I have not seen it at gun shows lately but CTD has it.
