THEFT WARNING...

Wow, I just got a set of new tires today. Three had a red dot. I knew those guys at the tire shop looked iffy. Actually I asked and I can confirm again they are balancing marks.
Re: THEFT WARNING...
Yes, police cars are robbed just as often as civilian cars of guns and ammo. Check these out;psijac wrote:Targeting Gunowners seems like a stupid idea. High end shotguns are hard to fence. Pawnshops will always check/report the serial numbers of a gun. You can try to sell a gun to another gang banger but you will never get full market value for it. If they are targeting the cars of gun owners why not just break into police cars? They are already marked for you, come with huge bragging rights and the likelyhood of getting shot if caught in the act is just about the same

This is just the tip of the iceberg as this was what I found in a cursory search of Google after just 10 seconds of searching.
BTW, who says anything about fencing a gun? These guns are used to commit CRIMES (surprise!).
Targeting gun owners is a "stupid" idea? Err... since when were armed robbers rocket scientists? If they had a higher I.Q., they'd rob nations and become politicians instead of robbing lousy cars. If they are brazen enough to rob a cop, what's stopping them from robbing you? Since police cars are already "tagged" with sirens and lights and your car is not "tagged", then wouldn't it make sense to "tag" your car? These vermin have a total disregard for human life, including their own life, so they don't care if you shoot them. A popular rap phrase amongst "gangsta" rappers is "live fast, die young."
Yes, be careful when leaving gun shops, gun ranges, and gun shows. While you're at it, have the NRA publication mailed to a p.o. box instead of your house or thieves who peek in your mailbox will know; 1. you're not home because you haven't picked up your mail. 2. you have guns because you subscribe to "american rifleman".
be careful out there....
