If you look like you are ready for a fight they will leave you alone.
I think a better statement might be, "if you look like you shouldn't be messed with, then they probably will leave you alone." My experience is that the ones that "look for a fight" usually get what they're looking for. There's always someone who thinks they're tougher and meaner than you are and is willing to stand up to that "I'm looking for a fight" game.

Just my 2¢ worth...

True and thanks.

It is kind of funny that for some reason O6nop says I am going around trying to pick a fight, but looks who is doing it on this board?

seriously. that harassment is most uncool. If they have a problem they need to post a 30.06 or leave you alone.

As do I...well, except now the ponytail currently resides on a shelf in the closet. ;-)

Seriously though, why do people insist on judging appearances rather than actions? Does my "look" entitle me to any less respect than a clean cut guy?

Maybe the guy has one of these and he thought about being employee of the month!!

It is my understanding, if you are bring a Firearm into Cabelas to Sell or Trade, you then would need to check it in. Otherwise it's not their business - unless there is a sign posted and seen when entering the store.

UN, I would have a problem with your appearance as a result of trying to use TDCJ inmates in construction and maintenance for 10 years, the all black, at least in the picture, tattoos are typical jail house art.
Adding some bright colors would change the overall appearance.

We see the appearances long before we get to know the actions. We can only process the information that we have.
