I'm expecting mine to be here tomorrow :) it was mailed out the 25th and my background only took 1 day my mailbox to mailbox will be 18 days if it comes in tomorrow

I've been in background check for 4 days now trying to remain patient but it hard
. I wonder what causes delay in some but other people get theirs done in a day maybe its sorted by last name or something.

A friend and his wife's apps were received by DPS on July 10th and she got her license in the mail on July 25th.
He's a legal resident alien so I expect him to take longer.

Hey folks - first post!
I submitted all my documents as attachments on-line 7/9 and received my CHL on 7/23. I was prepared for a month-long wait so the quick turn around was a nice surprise.
Glad to join your ranks!
