Since then, every time I go I hear Andy's voice in my ear telling me about the speed of the bird and lead distance.
But dude, you've got preternatural reflexes. You were far and away the fastest shot of all of us. It was impressive how fast you got your shots off.
 Really? I tried getting a little faster on the ones coming at me so I would have a better pattern spread when they were farther away. I guess that worked. I wish I'd had one of you guys video me with my phone so I could look at it. Next time.

You were an impressive sight! And scores to back it up!

Yes Sensei. ;-)

I will keep that in mind. I did miss the high bird on stations 6 & 7 in two rounds. And then I missed both birds from station 5 in that last, 21, round. The rest were spread around fairly well.

Thanks guys. You  me a little with your praise. I'm still a beginner at this game. We'll see how I hold up over time.

Heck, I'm still a beginner at shooting skeet. I spoke to Andy & others about how well you handle that Benelli. You now look like you were born with it. Your form is great and your scores reflect it.

I hunted birds, rabbits, & squirrels (but mostly birds) when I was a kid. I only shot skeet one time back then. I have only recently rediscovered the joy of using a shotgun to down flying objects.

You, my friend, are improving at a phenomenal rate. It wouldn't surprise me to see you score a 25 in the very near future.

Aren't the international birds also a little bit faster?

Gonna have to get that thing set for me first. Right now, I'm having to get set for it still.

Where is that guy who can fit my shotgun?

TAM found out about him, so we both went to visit him the first time - he's very good indeed.
Thanks!

I've requested an appointment for this Friday to see about having my Browning custom fit to me.
