They would actually find gravity waves after I was too old to surf those waves ...
Too much TIME passed ...
Now if they make the machine that traverses the "wrinkles in time"... I'll buy a ticket for traveling in it.

So, how come speed of light is fixed and not the unit of time??!!!

In addition, Einstein says light cannot escape a blackhole, so what it means light velocity is 0 and not the C, or time is always is 0 or both are 0.
I was once asked if a car was traveling at the speed of light and turned on it's headlights would any light escape? I answered with a question. Is the car in forward or reverse? The guy moved on to the next question?
As for black holes I don't know if anything can escape. I do know that Borger, Texas is the closest I've ever been to a black hole. I spent a week there one night.
Once, I was stuck in Lodi, again. Does that count?
You ain't no fortunate one!

Naw, just Dilithium Crystals!

And you would travel only into the future and not in the past. :biggrinjester:

Light can't escape a black hole because the gravity is so strong that space "warps" inward faster than C. The light itself is still traveling through space at C.

At least I think that's how it works.

Space cannot be wrapped faster than light. As light is the speed limit for any matter at said velocity matter would be converted to 100% photons. Time would stop at stand still, or in other words, all matter would have zero velocity and there is no more events for the observe to define what is time.
It is still a theory and not a fact, as no one visited a singularity and came back to explain what is happening there.

One has to explain to me, why a singularity has so powerful of gravity but it does not keep growing uncontrollably and keep eating distant matter. Does it eat black matter too?

Black matter matters.
