My 2cents
If the FBI Hostage Rescue Team tests an HK USP by throwing it against a wall and it goes off...Is that an Accidental Discharge (AD), Negligent Discharge (ND), or.....ID (intentional discharge). :biggrinjester:

I've read that the drop test is from 6' onto a concrete floor with a primered case and they drop it in a variety of orientations.

I think you could safely play catch with a modern pistol as long is it's in a tight holster and not be in any danger. Probably not going to try it though.

I have a crazy friend that served with SA security forcces who said they threw a Glock out of a helicopter to try to get it to ND, but it never did.

Personally I see it as gun abuse and it should carry a stiff prison sentence
Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master
If you ain't paranoid you ain't paying attention
Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here- John Parker

Every once in a while we hear about a recall on hand guns because of a danger of accidental discharge. Some of these guns had been out for a while. If I'm going to buy a hand gun for an EDC I think its important that the firearm, has been out in the wild for a while and see if these issues crop up.
