best of both worlds!

This is consistent with what I've seen - bad guys hit with a .45 are more likely to go down faster with fewer shots than with a 9mm.flechero wrote:I like that he shot two XDs 3.3's, head to head for the comparisons.warnmar10 wrote:Like most things the answer is found on YouTube

Chas.
To me the attraction of 10+ rounds or is attractive, not just because more ammo is better, but because the antis hate them so much. If certain government forces hate them so much, they must be a good thing to have. I used the logic when I decided to pick up an AR-15.MechAg94 wrote:So, if you carry 45, what do you carry?
I have an XDs in 45, but I always wanted 10 rounds mag capacity or more. The main options I can think of are a G21, an XD, or S&W M&P. I have carried the XD mod 2 45. It is okay, but I never was quite happy with it. I haven't seen the Sig P320 in 45, not sure what size that gun is. I would love to see FN make a compact version of the FNX-45 with a 10 round mag, but I am not sure they will ever do so. CZ doesn't make a 97 Phantom yet so I don't have that option. Anyone carry a Glock 30?
Just curious what you see as you best options in 45 carry.
I say carry the platform and caliber which makes you feel warm and fuzzy. However, what does the amount of ammo Rob has put down range for practice and competition on paper or steel have anything to do with the lethality of a particular caliber?LeonCarr wrote:Rob Leatham has probably put more ammunition downrange than everybody on this forum combined.
With that being said, if there is suddenly an epidemic of human beings being attacked by Pepper Poppers, I will switch back to a .45.![]()
