Nothing has changed. Trump’s lawyers misspell United States in opening lines of his response.
Not that Trumps lawyers misspelled something, but after writing a great defense, this is all that is reported.

Washington Examiner
February 7
LA Times op-ed slammed for comparing Trump-supporting neighbors to Hezbollah
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news ... -neighbors
Evidently this woman's neighbors are deplorable, dastardly Trump supporters. When her home and driveway got socked-in with snow, the neighbors--being neighborly rather than deplorable--shoveled her sidewalks and plowed her driveway. It was nothing but a friendly gesture. But the woman...who represents why Biden's "heal and bring together" message will fail even if his administration really means it, which they don't...instead of just telephoning the neighbors to say "thank you" decides instead to write an op-ed piece, published in the L.A. Times, "...comparing supporters of former President Donald Trump to Hezbollah and Nazi sympathizers."
David Shafer Tweeted: "This is a fascinating insight into how many on the left think. The writer cannot fathom good in people with whom she disagrees politically. So very sad."

56 Senators defy logic and the Constitution to vote that the Impeachment is constitutional and may proceed. 44 voted is was not constitutional.
I listened to some of the defense today and it is clearly not constitutional.
But hey they have a problem with "shall not be infringed" too.
The part I listened to was about the legislature in the constitution is prohibited from punishing a private citizen, because they are the Legislature not the Judiciary.
Senator Bill Cassidy joined the Democrats along with 5 other Rinos.

It's all for show, regardless. There is no way that enough Senators are going to vote to convict, so he will be acquitted. It's political theater.

With out the supreme court chief justice presiding, it just a show trial that means nothing. The senate can't declare what is constitutional, that's reserved for the courts to determine.

Trump acquitted.
Supposedly McConnell said afterwards he was morally responsible.

Yahoo saying this acquittal will resonate in history.
So if your a conservative and it looks like the election was stolen, just keep quiet and concede the election like a good boy.
