"Tell us how you really feel"

Are you that use this threadbare banality that famished of even the slightest bit of originality?

Please, I beg you, stop, stop using this bromide before I go even more insane...

I'm certain when the above is uttered, the cackling dolt hasn't the slightest clue of his/her particular lack of wit.

BOGO (buy one, get one). Of course if I buy one, I get one. This is how commerce works. Our simple-minded marketing machine apparently thinks we need a silly acronym instead of clear wording, like "buy one, get another one free."

And let's throw in "door busters" while looking at silly marketing terms.

Buy one get one free is a cheesy marketing ploy.

As an example: $1.00 for a can of soup, the second one is free.

Really?

No.

The soup costs .50 cents per can.

Don't believe it?

Demand the 2nd "free can" without paying for the first...think you'll get the 2nd "free can"...?

You're behind the times.

I heard this detestable chant regarding Secretary Rice cancelling her graduation speech at Rutgers.

A group of student (presumably) nitwits started in with the Hey, Hey, Ho, Hoing about her having to go...

A lot of unions go in the hey, hey, ho, ho garbage too.

I guess if it was good enough for the commies of the 70's, etc...
I freely admit that I am behind the times. :tiphat:

Maybe the Rutgers students learned the chant from their professors while getting their degrees in American Studies. :evil2:

Speaking of words that drive you up the wall ... isn't there an old saying from the 60s? Something about up against the wall?
Ah, the David Peel tune from his 1968 album "Have a Marijuana"? I prefer Captain Snowflake's, aka Jerry Jeff, version of the Ray Wylie Hubbard classic tune.

language consideration, promotes kicking donkeys owned by hippies.
