Man claims self defense at a sports complex shooting.

Large fight breaks out after a softball game in the parking lot, something about a foul ball. One man dead. Not going to call it murder yet because the shooter stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. But a lot of questions. He went to his car to get his gun? He was a LTC and carried during the game or had it in is sports bag? Could he have just walked away or drove away? Someone else have a gun or knife?

Fight at bar goes outside, then shots exchanged I believe. One man dead. Supposedly the Banditos motorcycle club involved. 120.

Maybe they all went to their cars and and motorcycles and retrieved their guns, since you cannot carry in a bar. Bars are open again with social distancing and face masks?

Article says:
Police said after the game, [the soon-to-be-dead guy} pulled out a gun and pointed it at several people, including a 45-year-old suspect who was trying to break up the fight. Police said the suspect then pulled his own weapon and shot Schumaker.
Don't know if the article author or the police decided to use the term "suspect" but the police let him go and sent case to DA without charges.

This was not in the article linked above:
Witnesses told police a man, later identified as 32-year-old Shepherd Schumaker, fired several gunshots into the crowd.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/po ... r-BB17XM3G

If true that more strongly supports the shooter's claim of self-defense.

Further to the shooting at the softball game: The dead guy has previous arrests for Assault with Bodily Injury and Public Intoxication in Oct 2018 and Possession of Marijuana about 10 days before he was killed.
https://texas.arrests.org/search.php?fn ... =Schumaker

Doesn't necessarily mean he was the aggressor at the softball park, but doesn't suggest great judgment either.

Murderer released on bond murders again. Yeah and they don't know where he is, crime stoppers are paying $5000 for information on how to find him. Probably more than he paid to get out of jail.
