Hi. I just wanted to post an update on my wait time.
Application - 8/8/16
Fingerprints - 8/12/16
LTC Class & Submitted CHL100 online - 8/13/16
Never received email confirmation. Called them later and they verified they received everything.
App status appeared all green except background - 8/22/16
Print pending - 8/23/16
Licensed mailed - 8/30/16
Plastic in hand - 9/2/16
The only thing on my background check that might take a while to verify is my time in between jobs. Other than that there isn't anything that will cause them to send it to a technician for a second look.
Good luck everyone!

Class: 7/31
Application : 8/4
CHL-100 Submitted: 8/4
Confirmation email that they received Docs: 8/8
Fingerprints taken: 8/9
Fingerprints received: 8/11

Been waiting since 8/12 for the background to complete - everything else is done :/ Wondering if they received my packet, hadn't yet received my fingerprints, so put me back at the end of the line again?
Going on a road trip next week, was really hoping to have my LTC by then. Oh well. Gr.

I have pretty much the same time line. Status update 8/10 waiting on the BG for three weeks now. I lived out of state in the last 5 years that's the only thing I can think for the hold up. Oh well I'm sure it will change soon.

hoping so! My girlfriend did all the steps the exact same time as me, and hers is also in the same spot. She's had the same address and only 2 jobs in the last 5 years though. Me, not so much - bounced around everywhere. Will be interesting to see if ours get completed at different times.

Mine was mailed Saturday morning, and it's still not here! What the hell postal service.

Monday was a holiday, so it probably sat in a truck somewhere for a while.

i've posted before. in summary all docs submitted online 8/5, email acknowledging receipt on 8/8, status change to in review on 8/11. i called last friday after reading the boards and seeing such rapid turnaround. a very nice lady told me i was in review (which i could see at the website). in short, i'm well within the period for issue (less than a month). been at the same address for 20 years but am in Harris County (Houston), the largest county in the state. I'm wondering if reading the forum and the time period so short for some is an anomaly and am causing myself aggravation LOL!

Yes, I think some of the fast ones are an anomaly. I had everything turned in 7/24. I was under review until 9/2. It wasn't until 9/7 that everything went green and status changed to mailed. I guess some are faster than others. Not sure why.

There is obviously something not right. You need to be phone the phone with them finding out what is going on behind the scenes with your application cause that's far far outside the norm.
Wow yeah I second that. I'd be on the phone for sure, state rep or someone on up there
I had not heard about calling the state rep before, I will try that on monday. I have never been able to get anywhere calling them directly. Every time i called, it would hang up on me after an automated response. I had to go in person and talk to the security guard, who called upstairs to get me the name of someone to find out what more they needed in may.
Needless to say i was surprised to see people getting theirs within a couple weeks, month, and months...
i did call my state rep and they were very helpful. i found out there was some error in them getting back to me, but my application was denied due to a ticket i got in 2012. so, thats that apparently.
