Ugh... one full week in print pending as of today.
I was hoping to have plastic by Christmas, but it's not looking good. Called regulatory services and they said allow 14 days!

I was hoping to have plastic by Christmas, but it's not looking good. Called regulatory services and they said allow 14 days!
Mine has been Print Pending since Thursday 12/15
Called DRS again today and was told mine was mailed Monday 12/19... Never updated online though. Still says print pending, and as of right now, still no plastic. Hopefully in the mail tomorrow evening.

I get a feeling they do this frequently. When mine changed to mailed I received it two days later. I know that my post office didn't get it to me that quick since it takes a week for a letter to get from one side of my town to the other. I think they mail the cards out and then update the status a few days later so people dont start calling/emailing them wanting to know why it's taking so long to get there.

Finally moved from background under review to print pending. Does that mean for sure Ive been approved?

99.9% of the time yes. Although I have heard occasions where something along the way warranted a second look. Maybe rechecking fingerprints or the background check. However, based upon what I've read on this forum I do believe you're just a couple weeks away from either in the mail or plastic in hand.

Dont't feel bad. I have been under review since the second week of December. I called DPS today and ask them why is it taking so long. I am a federal employee and cleared a Dept of Homeland Security background check and an agency background check just 2 weeks ago and my LTC documents were submitted the second week of November .....Go figure!!!!!

I'm still waiting too, mine was electronically filed 11/22, but DPS said it was ready for review 12/6, so now 12/28 no update on the website. BUT, i'm sure all the holidays in between have slowed things down a bit. I do check every day even though i really dont expect things to update soon. Maybe by January something! I'm also a state employee, you'd think that would make it easier. Guess not.
