One week down.... still waiting for any changes on dps site. Lol from looks of things I have a long wait ahead of me..

Update. After five long months they mailed it. I already ordered my holster, so they should arrive at the same time.

Finally got info about submitting supporting documents of a prior arrest in 1995 got those documents together and submitted those on 1/30 electronically with a note explaining my error.
5 days later my status is green and im in
PRINT PENDING!

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Looks like they are finally getting things done.

My timeline (as well as my memory serves):
LTC class 11/19/16
Received supporting docs 11/21/16
Fingerprints done 11/23/16
All green except for Prints, Background Check, LTC a handgun 11/29/16
Status update: Prints received, Background check completed, Print pending 1/31/17 (yes all 3 happened on the same day, I called to make sure my prints were received in Dec, and was told that my prints were received but the status would not change until my BGC was completed. I found it odd, but I guess it was true.)
Status update: Mailed 2/3/17
I know it definitely took a little longer because I submitted everything just before 3 major holidays (literally got my prints down the day before Thanksgiving). I think i would've ha d a bit faster turn around had it not been around that time. But better late than never. I've waited this long, I can wait a few more days. Like I've said before, I don't what's worse the LTC wait or the wait on a tax stamp... . All y'all still waiting, hang in there!!!

Bro I'm happy for you! Unfortunately, mine still says pending. Maybe because they didn't ask me for any documentation they will wait until they send me something before looking at what I already sent in? This is garbage... come on Arizona! Btw, I called them Wednesday to see if they got my application and she said they were only on the apps received on 20 January.

Should have supporting documents from the other state early next week and will submit along with the Texas form CHL78-C. We'll see how long from there.

Dang yall gonna be mad at me... started on 5th of jan class on 13th. Then on the 16th I got a email saying all docs are in. 12 days later LTC in wallet... 23 days total start to finish...

Oh, okay. I remember getting an email about the original application being submitted and when I uploaded the classroom class/shooting qualification form.

Hi everyone! New to the forum! I submitted all info on the 23rd of January and almost two weeks later I'm just waiting for background to clear, printing and mail out. Hopefully those who've been waiting months will have some luck with a quick issuance. I'm hoping because I'm younger and work in corrections/law enforcement the background with be quick.
