I'll take him off the list. MojoTexas, I'll add you as a maybe. Geekwagon, I'll add your son. And you all can pray for me... I did something obscure to my lower back this morning (obscure = I don't know what I did, but I did something) but the pain isn't obscure at all. It's quite noticeable. I'm taking painkillers and laying down and resting it, and hopefully it will be better by tomorrow morning. I will be there regardless, but I may not be able to stand upright and track a moving clay with a shotgun. We'll see. If I can't shoot, I can certainly supervise and offer a running commentary on everyone else's style.

But hopefully, I'll be OK.

I should be there. I am seeing nothing to stop me.

Are we buying clays at Alpine? Or are we supposed to bring our own? Alpine charges $38/100. I'm going to run over to Walmart and pick up a couple of boxes of White Flyers for $6.99/90.

I've got my ammo all ready to go and I've finding it hard to keep from polishing my shotgun's barrels - IR excited

By the way, I'll be bringing my brand new camera. I just got home with it not 5 minutes ago - A Nikon D3100 digital SLR with a 18-55mm VR lens and a 55-200 VR lens. It's a 14.2 megapixel camera that also shoots 1080P HD video.

Everybody be sure their makeup is fresh, or all the members here will be able to see your pores when I post the photos. :smilelol5:

As far as I can remember, the clays are included in your range fee of $6.50/round of skeet.

I just dug out that case of 12-gage shells I bought last year and discovered it was 20-gauge.
So I'll buy some of that premo range ammo I guess.

those 20-gage shells are "Game loads". Will those be OK for clays?
(Yes, I'm bringing a 20-ga also)

I'm bringing a case of 12 GA 7&1/2, 1oz shells. You can buy a box or two from me if you need to. They cost me $5.57 per box plus tax.

I had a real good time today. It was nice putting some faces with names. I wasn't very good with the hitting clays, but it was a great way to spend the morning. I look forward to the next one.
