They now know where everyone stands and what they'll budge on. They can go huddle and reassess the game plan. And where is Mister Republican #21 who could end this whole mess by actually voting in line with his party platform's non-negotiables by allowing Wentworth's bill to be voted on directly?
That is why I was wondering who the 19-20 are. It would be good to remind the non-party participants who elected them.
It's all but what's his name from College Station, I betcha.

Well, we need a full court press on it, then. Call Speaker Straus and all the members of the Calendars committee.

I wish I could hear the water cooler conversations during this break right now
I got new belts on my car today; got oil changed and inspected yesterday ... I may need to go to the Capitol ...
I noticed that's twice Wentworth either quoted or used logic I first presented in comments on various news posts; I ought to meet him and introduce myself as my screen name/s

By now, she's replaced it with an oil drum.
I wonder if she was testing the waters, or if she really thought she was in Oz and everyone would shoot down Wentworth's amendment.

I TOLD Zaffrini if she'd be the 21st vote on Suspending rules on SB 354 that she would have had no problem on SB 5 but did she listen? nooooooooooo she didn't want to save money for schools on insurance and afford/give them more protections by giving them new immunities ....
It's her own fault.
